Decorative insulated exterior wall panel with a wood grain finish over a polyurethane foam core — the product the Chinese market calls metal carved board. This is a rainscreen and cladding panel rather than a structural one: it goes over an existing wall or a light framing system to deliver the look of timber cladding with none of the rot, insect or maintenance exposure, plus a useful bump in wall R-value. Pattern libraries in this category are deep. Suppliers routinely offer dozens of distinct wood grains — oak, teak, walnut, cedar, weathered barnwood and more — across several plank widths.
