Description
Insulated sandwich panel built for controlled-environment interiors — walk-in coolers and freezers, cold storage rooms, food processing spaces, pharmaceutical and electronics cleanrooms. Available with polyurethane, polyisocyanurate or rock wool cores and a cam-lock or tongue-and-groove joint depending on application. Hygienic facings with coved corner and flush-joint detailing available for washdown environments. Worth noting on code: interior applications sit outside the IBC exterior wall provisions entirely, so the NFPA 285 question that governs exterior facade panels does not arise here. This is one of the cleanest categories to specify.
